Fabian Marcaccio’s genre-defying works converge digital printing techniques, photography, and sculpture to create mutant paintings, or “paintants” as he calls them, forming a bridge between traditional fine art and the fast-growing digitalization of artwork today to investigate whether the traditional medium of painting can survive in the digital age.
